Daniel began his interest in music at a very young age. His passion for music and serious interest in flashing lights and buttons to push led to contract work with different event production companies operating sound, lighting and video equipment. Over time Daniel landed a house engineering position at New York City’s Irving Plaza working with artists such as Willie Nelson, Ricky Martin, and 311. The Irving Plaza house position snowballed into a job with Sony Records touring the world as a Production Manager and Chief Sound Engineer for many years. With strong roots still planted in his home state of Maine, Daniel returned home working again as a freelance engineer for clubs, bands, and audio, video and lighting companies around New England. With enough contacts and support Daniel opened the doors to AV Technik in October of 2004.
